Recently, we asked our social media followers and email subscribers to nominate a name for our new woodland in West Bergholt, where over 2,000 trees found a new home this winter with the help of volunteers and local partners.

Well, wow. We had hundred of responses and suggestions (with a few repeats!), and we’re giving away a year’s worth of crisps to the person who suggested the name that gets the most votes, with a random draw if there’s more than one suggestion for the name.

We’re also giving away a free mixed box of crisps to FIVE people who take part in the voting, so… what do you think?

TERMS & CONDITIONS – VOTING COMPETITION

  1. The promoter is: Fairfields Farm Produce Ltd (company no. 8860351) whose registered office is at Fordham Road, Wormingford, Colchester CO6 3AQ
  2. This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Fairfield Farm Produce Ltd, close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation, concerned properties or judging of the competition.
  3. The competition will open at 10am on Thursday 30th March and close on Sunday April 16th at midnight.
  4. Entry is via webform, hosted on this page for the duration of the competition.
  5. The prize is a voucher for a pick n’ mix box of crisps of the winner’s choosing.
  6. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  7. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
  8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  9. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  10. Winners will be chosen at random from all entries received and verified by the promoter.
  11. The winner will be notified by email within 5 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  12. The promoter will notify the winner of delivery date, no later than 14 days after the receipt of delivery details.
  13. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

  3. The suggestions phase on Facebook and Instagram has already taken place, and the voting phase will close on Sunday April 16th at midnight.
  4. The prize is will be distributed across 4 deliveries over one year, in up to three flavours of the winner’s choosing – each delivery numbering 108 individual bags of 40g crisps over 3 boxes of 36 bags.
  5. If only one suggestion for the most voted for woodland name was initially received, that person will win the prize. If several people suggested the woodland name, a second random draw will take place and a single winner chosen.
