This year's message is Every Mission Starts With You.
Every day, crews are dispatched to over 134 missions - providing specialist, critical care when it matters most. There are 37 air ambulance helicopters operated across the 21 individual charities across the UK. The Air Ambulance crew on average reaches someone in urgent need within 15 minutes with an average cost of £4,165 for a single helicopter mission.
Air ambulance charities rely almost entirely on the generosity of local communities to keep flying and to provide hospital-level care directly to people wherever they are. Throughout the week, we’ll be joining Air Ambulance UK to help raise awareness of the incredible work these charities do across the UK.
This year’s campaign puts the spotlight on the public – the supporters, donors, and fundraisers whose actions power every single response. Whether you’re making a donation, organising a bake sale, taking on a personal challenge, or simply sharing stories online, you’re helping to save lives.

Our continued partnership of our special-edition Lightly Sea Salted crisp packs, means a percentage of all profits donated will support the emergency care provided by the 21 air ambulance charities operating across the UK. A minimum of £10,000 from the sale of associated products will be donated annually to Association of Air Ambulances (Charity) Ltd (Reg. Company Number 9391251 and Reg. Charity Nos. 1161153 in England & Wales and SC051021 in Scotland).
